Keyboard shortcuts
The window has a handful of shortcuts of its own. Inside a profile, the browser’s shortcuts are Chrome’s.
The window
| Action | macOS | Windows |
|---|---|---|
| Go to Profiles | ⌘⌥P | Ctrl+Alt+P |
| Open Settings | ⌘, | Ctrl+, |
| Show or hide the sidebar | ⌘⌥S | Ctrl+Alt+S |
| Previous profile | ⌘⌥↑ | Ctrl+Alt+↑ |
| Next profile | ⌘⌥↓ | Ctrl+Alt+↓ |
The same list is in Settings › Keyboard Shortcuts. It is for reference: the shortcuts cannot be reassigned.
In a table
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| Return / Enter | Opens the selected row. |
| Delete | Deletes the selection, after a confirmation. |
| Esc | Clears the selection. |
Ctrl+A on Windows | Selects everything. |
Inside a profile
When a profile’s browser is in front, the keyboard belongs to it: new tab, close tab, reload, find on the page, the address bar, back and forward work exactly as in Chrome on your system.
- The command that closes a browser window closes the profile.
- Full screen makes the whole Liminal window full-screen.
The macOS menu bar and Dock
- The profiles menu in the menu bar
- Lists your profiles — choose one to open it — followed by Manage Profiles… and New Profile.
- The Dock icon’s menu
- New Profile, Manage Profiles… and the list of profiles.
- The Help menu
- Send Feedback…
